I am a freelance photographer and videographer from Finland
trying to split my time between Helsinki and Tokyo.
My clients and collaborators range from artists, labels and fashion designers to brands, businesses, and anyone looking for a strong portrait.
My main focus is in artist promos, editorial/fashion photography and sometimes short film concepts and music videos. Having spent many years immersed in Helsinki’s underground music scene, music culture continues to shape much of my visual approach, and I regularly photograph live concerts and as well.
I value every stage of the creative process, from concept development and pre-production to post-production and color grading. Strong direction, clear communication, thoughtful lighting, inventive visual storytelling and an equal, collaborative atmosphere on set are central to how I work.
With a hands-on DIY background, I'm comfortable building sets, solving problems creatively and maintaining a project's visual identity from start to finish.
While I primarily shoot stills on film, I also work digitally whenever the project benefits from a faster and more flexible workflow.
